Present Mic’s hero suit blends vintage radio host energy with classic motorcycle leathers. The entire design is loud, anchored by heavy black faux leather from the neck down, broken up by bright yellow accents and an unmistakably dramatic swept-back hairstyle.
Recreating Hizashi Yamada comes down to managing two main focal points: the extreme gravity-defying hair and the rock-inspired biker silhouette. While his quirk is purely sonic, his visual identity relies on clean lines, metallic hardware, and sharp, angular accessories.
Leather Biker Suit and Belt
His core outfit consists of a tailored motorcycle jacket paired with matching slim-fit leather pants. The jacket features an asymmetrical front zipper, a tall stand collar, and broad shoulder epaulets fitted with silver pyramid studs. Choosing a jacket with structured shoulders gives you the upright posture needed for the character. If your base jacket lacks the shoulder spikes, adding screw-back cone studs to the epaulets is a quick modification that holds up well during wear.
The pants should match the finish of the jacket as closely as possible. Matte or semi-gloss black faux leather keeps the suit looking uniform under convention lighting. Standard cuts with clean knee stitching work best here, giving you enough stretch to sit and walk without binding.
A bold cherry-red belt splits the solid black suit right at the waistline. Mic wears a wide red strap fastened with an oversized circular metallic buckle. A ratchet-style red leather belt gives a clean, hole-free appearance that stays centered without sagging under the weight of any attached pouches.
The Directional Speaker and Headwear

His eyewear consists of distinct yellow-tinted, sharply angled sunglasses. The frames are rimless or slim-framed with inverted triangular lenses that angle upward toward the temples. Because they sit low on the bridge of the nose, you want lightweight frames with adjustable nose pads so they don’t slide down while talking or walking through crowded halls.
Don’t overlook the tiny pencil mustache. A quick application of brown or dark blonde eyebrow pencil or liquid liner directly above the upper lip completes his facial profile.
Tackling the Gravity-Defying Hair
Present Mic’s upright, backward-swept hairstyle is the most labor-intensive part of the build. Base character wigs come pre-crimped and gathered into a high wedge, but keeping that volume upright requires solid reinforcement.
For long-term hold, working in thin horizontal layers from the nape upward with heavy-hold hairspray and a hairdryer on low heat solidifies the internal structure. If you need additional rigidity for a taller spike, inserting a lightweight foam core or craft-wire armature inside the center wefts prevents the hair from tipping backward as you move.
Boots and Gloves
Heavy black motorcycle boots anchor the bottom of the costume. Mid-calf engineer or harness boots with thick lug soles match the proportions of the leather pants. Tucking the pant legs cleanly into the tops of the boots keeps the silhouette sharp and prevents bunching around the ankles.
