Lilith’s design centers on tall, statuesque proportions and formal evening wear. Her silhouette pairs a floor-length dark purple gown with pale platinum-blonde hair, curved black horns, and an ornate pointed crown. Because her visual design comes from an animated series with exaggerated shapes, the main task in translating her into a real costume is achieving those elongated lines while keeping the headpieces secure.
Recreating this outfit relies on ready-made formalwear combined with layered accessories. When you break the pieces down, the build divides cleanly between the dress layers, the multi-piece headpiece assembly, and the high-contrast makeup.
The Gown, Mesh Layer, and Gloves
The foundation of the entire outfit is a formal floor-length dress with a clean, sweeping drape. The Azazie Nereda Gown in “Grape” provides the rich purple color and columnar skirt silhouette that Lilith wears throughout her appearances. The deep hue matches the royal palette of the character without requiring custom fabric dyeing or pattern drafting from scratch.
Lilith’s upper body incorporates sheer dark elements alongside the gown. Wearing a Black Mesh Undershirt beneath the dress gives you the high-neck sheer coverage seen on her animated model. You can secure the gown’s neckline against the mesh using double-sided fabric tape so the layers do not shift or bunch up as you walk.
For the arms, slip on the Purple Elbow Length Gloves. These create continuous color from your forearms down to your fingertips, framing the dark mesh torso. If the glove tops tend to slide down your arms during movement, a dab of washable body adhesive or a hidden strip of lingerie elastic inside the top hem keeps them firmly in place.
Assembling the Horns, Crown, and Wig
Lilith’s hair and headpiece combination requires wearing three separate components together: the Long Light Blonde Wig, the Demon Horns Headband, and the Black Gothic Crown. Managing the weight and placement of these pieces is the most critical technical part of the costume.
Start by prepping and putting on the wig. Her hair is straight, smooth, and exceptionally long. Braid your natural hair tightly against your scalp and use a secure wig cap so the wig foundation lies completely flat. Synthetic wigs of this length tangle easily from friction against dress fabric, so gently mist the underside of the fibers with a light silicone-based detangling spray before heading out.
Once the wig is pinned securely to your wig cap, position the Demon Horns Headband so the curved horns sweep upward and outward from the sides of the head. Slide the Black Gothic Crown directly in front of the horn band, resting it right at the hairline. Stacking two headbands can cause tension headaches if both bands press behind the ears in the exact same spot. To prevent pressure points, stagger the ends slightly, or sew small metal wig clips directly onto the underside of the headbands so they grip the wig wefts directly instead of squeezing your temples.
Jewelry and Makeup
A single strand Pearl Necklace sits right at the base of the throat, providing a bright, pale accent against the dark mesh neckline. Choose a length that rests comfortably above the bodice of the gown so it stays centered throughout the day.
Her makeup emphasizes dramatic, villainous royalty with sharp graphic edges and stark color contrasts. Start with a smooth, pale complexion base across the face and neck to set up the rest of the cosmetics.
Using the Red Eyeshadow Palette, sweep a vibrant crimson pigment across the upper lids, blending upward toward the brow bone and smudging along the lower lash line. The Black Eyeliner defines the eye shape with an exaggerated, angular wing pulled sharply outward to mimic the sharp animation style.
Complete the face with the Black Lipstick. Use a lip brush to trace crisp, sharp edges along the cupid’s bow and corners of the mouth, giving you the clean, striking finish characteristic of Lilith’s expression.
