Because her animated design is clean and graphic, putting the costume together comes down to matching the rich red tones across separate pieces and getting the distinctive silhouette right.
The foundation is straightforward: a strapless mini dress, long opera gloves, fishnets, and thigh-high boots. Most of the pieces can be sourced off the rack, so your main focus will be color coordination and styling the split-color wig to match her deadpan look.
Matching the Dress and Opera Gloves
Crimson wears a strapless, form-fitting tube dress in a muted wine red. A stretchy knit or spandex blend works well here because it stays in place without requiring complex boning. Check that the hem sits mid-thigh to leave plenty of room for the fishnets and boots below.
The opera gloves need to match the dress’s shade as closely as possible.
