Unlike Chris Redfield‘s strictly utilitarian military fatigue kit, Sheva balances functional load-bearing leather with a fitted patterned halter tank, beaded jewelry, and distinctive personal touches.
Putting the outfit together revolves mostly around strap management. Sheva wears an extensive network of brown leather harness pieces across her chest, waist, and thighs, which easily slip out of position if they aren’t anchored directly to the garments underneath.
Base Layers: Patterned Top and Field Trousers
Her base shirt is a fitted sleeveless top in deep blue tones with an angular, geometric print across the chest. A geometric print tank top comes closest to the game texture, though a striped v-neck tank works as an alternative if you want something with similar contrast. You want the shirt to fit snugly against the torso so the chest straps do not bunch the fabric underneath.
For the bottom half, Sheva wears fitted field pants in a pale olive drab tone. Light olive slim fit pants match the cut well and slide neatly into tall boots without gathering excess fabric around the calves.
Footwear and Arm Protection
Her boots are tall, knee-high brown riding boots with flat soles and clean lines. Tucking the trousers securely into the shafts creates the clean field silhouette Sheva maintains throughout the Kijuju campaign.
On her arms, she wears black fingerless gloves paired with brown buckle forearm guards. If the arm guards feel loose around your wrists, adding small adhesive foam strips inside the cuffs keeps them clamped firmly during movement. On her left arm, strap on the solid red bicep band, which represents the BSAA West Africa branch insignia.
Harness System and Tactical Gear
Sheva’s tactical rig consists of three distinct leather components: a brown leather chest harness across the shoulders, a brown leather thigh harness, and a brown leather thigh holster for her sidearm. Balance these out on the opposite leg with a dark brown leather drop thigh bag to carry essentials.
Because commercial leather straps tend to slide down slick trouser fabrics, safety pins or heavy-duty hook-and-loop strips hidden on the back of the leg bands will keep both the thigh holster and utility pouch from migrating toward your knees while walking.
Weapons and Props
Sheva carries a standard service pistol as her sidearm alongside heavier firepower like an Ithaca M37 shotgun. A fake pistol fits directly into the right thigh holster, while a toy shotgun costume prop can be slung over the back or carried in hand. Keep any required safety markings intact for convention security.
Necklace and Body Art
Two personal accents set Sheva apart from standard military operatives. Around her neck, she wears a short multicolor beaded necklace resting against the collarbone. On her upper arm, she features her distinctive red tribal tattoo. A red temporary tattoo pen allows you to draw the lettering directly onto the skin with clean edges that withstand sweating.
