Thor‘s appearance during his years in New Asgard completely flipped his usual polished god-of-thunder armor on its head. Instead of cape, chainmail, and polished boots, he spends his days in loungewear: a chunky zip sweater, faded hoodie, flannel sleep pants, and slip-on foam clogs.
Recreating this look comes down to nailing the messy, slouchy silhouette. The clothes need to look lived-in and layered loosely over a rounded belly, topped off with tangled blonde hair and weathered fingerless gloves.
Layering the Torso
The upper body consists of two contrasting knit layers worn wide open. The outer layer is a heavy red zip-up cardigan featuring a geometric Nordic-style pattern across the chest and shoulders. Underneath sits a muted heather teal hoodie, also unzipped or partially pulled apart so the midsection pushes forward. Sizing up on both garments gives you the proper relaxed drape without restricting movement, especially once you add padding underneath.
Building the Silhouette
Thor’s physical transformation in Endgame relies heavily on his fuller midsection. If you need artificial bulk, a dedicated unisex belly stuffer strapped securely around the waist provides realistic roundness without shifting during a long day of wearing it. Position the pad low on the abdomen so the hem of the hoodie naturally rides up slightly over it, just like it sits on screen.
Pants and Footwear
For the bottom half, brown plaid fleece pajama pants offer the exact loose, uncaring fit the character favors. The waistband should rest comfortably under the belly pad, letting the cuffs bunch slightly over the ankles.
Footwear is wonderfully low-maintenance. Thor wanders around in slate gray Crocs paired with plain mid-calf gray socks. Keep the heel straps pushed forward in relaxed mode rather than locked behind your ankles. It is one of the few cosplay setups where comfort is built directly into the screen accuracy.
Hair, Beard, and Eyewear
The head styling carries massive visual weight here. Thor’s hair is long, dirty blonde, and thoroughly matted into rough sections, while his full beard features small, uneven braids tucked near the chin. You can tease a synthetic lace-front wig with dry shampoo or texturizing paste to eliminate artificial shine and create that unwashed texture.
A pair of oversized black sunglasses covers the eyes, which saves you from worrying about detailed eye makeup or contact lenses. Pair them with beige knit fingerless gloves that show worn ribbing around the knuckles and wrists.
Stormbreaker and Mjolnir
Even in loungewear, Thor still commands thunder. Carrying Stormbreaker or Mjolnir instantly ties the casual clothing back to his superhero identity. A dense EVA foam hammer and axe prop set gives you the sharp silhouette of Asgardian weaponry while remaining light enough to carry around all day without shoulder fatigue.
